You are migrating to a new z16 machine and need to know if the current LMP keys will work or will new keys be needed.
Are license keys hardware or CPU specific?
If you are running with SITE KEYS, then the existing keys will work on a z16 machine. The thing to know is that SITE KEYS are non-CPU keys which means they can run on any machine regardless of machine type.
SITE KEYS are described in the Common Services documentation. There is a section named LMP and CAIRIM where the topic Add Product License Keys is presented. You may want to review this for familiarity.
It is advised that you contact your Broadcom account team if you are installing the keys on a machine that is larger than what your entitlements state.
