Clarity PPM On Premise

Issue/Introduction

  • An upgrade has happened recently to the Clarity application
  • Thereafter, some reports do not show data as expected
  • The reports do not throw any errors

Resolution

  • The data issues could arise due to issues in the DWH:
    • The 'Load Data Warehouse' or the 'Load Data Warehouse Access Rights' job failing
    • Tables not getting populated fully due to other issues
  • If the reports are based on the transactional (also known as Niku or Clarity schema), then data would have to be checked there directly
  • Error not being thrown by the reports confirm that its not an issue with the reports themselves, but rather with the underlying data.
