MUX Idea Grid performance with Group OBS Rights

Issue/Introduction

A user with Group OBS rights will see significant performance issues on MUX Idea Grid compared to an admin user.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Test on a system with Group OBS rights set up for most users

1. With a user with admin Global rights granted to Resource
2. Go to Idea Grid in MUX and open the views below:

• A Basic Idea View - just Idea ID and Name
• A Standard View which includes multiple fields including a few secure ones

3. Note both views take 2-3 sec to display
4. Now logout and login with user with Group OBS permissions only and no Global permissions, and test the same views

Expected Results: The views to show results within reasonable time

Actual Results:  The first view takes 88 sec, the second view takes 92 sec.

Environment

Clarity 16.2.x, 16.3.x with Oracle

Resolution

As a fix, use the solution for MUX Project and Idea Grid performance with Group OBS Rights 

Workaround: Add a Global right Idea – Approve – All to the user, this will bring the views down to 3 sec
