Log Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS Database Management for DB2 for z/OS - Recovery Suite DATABASE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR DB2 FOR Z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Utilizing Log Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PLA) option 2 - Strategy Services. When attempting to Create a new strategy
the following error is returned:

LA155E: Unable to save strategy due to errors.  Press PF1 for HELP.

What steps are required to correct the LA155E error message?

Resolution

If a SQL Error control block accompanies the LA155E message take the appropriate action to resolve the SQL Error. 

Example SQL Errors messages that may be encountered:

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -904, ERROR:  UNSUCCESSFUL EXECUTION CAUSED BY AN     
         UNAVAILABLE RESOURCE. REASON 00C90080, TYPE OF RESOURCE         
         00000210, AND RESOURCE NAME dbname  .PTITSLA1.00000001    

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -551, ERROR:  authid  DOES NOT HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO   
         PERFORM OPERATION INSERT ON OBJECT PTI.PTPLA_STRAT_0100  



If a SQL Error control block is not returned with the LA155E message, verify the hlq.CDBAPARM SETUPxx member
SSID entries for the Db2 environment are accurate taking special care to verify the following entries are correct:

BSDS      (                  
                 hlq.BSDS01       
                 hlq.BSDS02       
                )
