Issue/Introduction

The customer may encounter issues when deploying VeloCloud Edges on an Azure vHub if another routing NVA is already running.

Environment

All Vmware Velocloud Sd-wan Edge Appliance

Resolution

Your two options are:

  1. Use the Palo and Velo in two separate hubs.

  2. Deploy the Velo in a spoke connected to the vWAN hub and use BGP peering.
    To do this, the customer will need to deploy the Edges in a VNET using an ARM template, then follow the steps outlined here to connect to the vWAN hub:
