When using SAML and AuthHub trying to login fails with this error

no app identifier provided in the response from the Identity Provider

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud: All Supported Versions
  • AuthHub: All Supported Versions

Cause

This can happen if the IDP is incorrect

Resolution

Verify the "idp issuer uri" is correct for your specific IDP
