SSL Visibility warning notification - [WARNING] A cold power cycle is required to enable the latest firmware to reset and cleanly load the updated firmware version.

Issue/Introduction

After a BIOS upgrade on SSLv, which reboots the hardware, you receive the following notification even though the hardware was rebooted during the upgrade:

[WARNING] A cold power cycle is required to enable the latest firmware to reset and cleanly load the updated firmware version.

1. Power down the appliance.
2. Disconnect all power cords and wait 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the cords.
4. Restart the appliance.

Cause

A BIOS update often requires an additional restart because the update process needs to fully apply the new settings to the system firmware, which typically happens during the boot sequence after the initial restart, essentially "finalizing" the changes made to the BIOS. 

Resolution

Follow the steps noted to reboot one additional time after the initial BIOS upgrade reboot.

1. Power down the appliance.
2. Disconnect all power cords and wait 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the cords.
4. Restart the appliance.
