Configuring NAS AO profile to close probe's alert on every interval

Issue/Introduction

There might be a need to close some specific probes alert based on some interval - this goal can be achieved by creating Auto Operator profile in the NAS configuration. 

Environment

DX UIM 20.4.x / 23.4.x 

NAS any version

Resolution

1. Open NAS configuration in the infrastructure manager

2. Go to "Auto Operators" tab

3. create a new profile.

4. Select "action type" to "close", change the action mode to "on every interval" and enter the desired value in hours, minutes or seconds (this value determines on what interval the alerts will be closed).

5. In the "NMS probe Name" enter the name of the probe for which you wish to start removing alerts.

6. Select the severity levels that are supposed to be closed.

 

7. click "ok", enable the profile, and save the NAS configuration.
