VLCR - No VMs could be synchronized back. Note that sync back is not supported for VMs that were migrated to SDDC storage or that have vSphere snapshots.

Issue/Introduction

When clicking "Sync Back" during failback process you would see below message :

Environment

VLCR version 7.27.4.1

Cause

VLCR does not support failback or sync back for a VM that underwent sVMotion from vSAN back to SCFS in the rSDDC.

Resolution

As a workaround customer can perform the below steps :

• sVMotion from vSAN to ds01
• Rename the VM 
• Failback the VM (full restore)
