Unable to establish communication between Redhat and VCSA

Issue/Introduction

• Will not be able to connect the VCSA to redhat satellite server and vice-versa.
• Checking the Firewall rule gives the below.

[root@004 ~]$ nc -zv [email protected] 443
Ncat: Version 7.92 ( https://xxxx.org/ncat )
Ncat: TIMEOUT.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.x

Resolution

• Ensure connectivity between the vCenter over port 443. For more information see KB: Doing cross vMotion between vCenters in ELM failing with error "Compatibility check took too long to complete during vmotion"
• Check the vCenter certificate:
  • If it is VMCA, check that it is not expired and no mismatch are present. For more information see KB: Using the 'lsdoctor' Tool.
  • If it Custom CA, check the chain and intermediate crt. For more information see KB: Obtaining vSphere certificates from a Microsoft Certificate Authority.
