Issue/Introduction

VMware vSphere Lifecycle Manager is upgrading the ESX host 6.7 to 7.0u3q, which is incompatible.

Error

The upgrade has VIBs that are missing dependencies

VMware_bootbank_esx-nsxv_6.7.0-0.0.14762108

Remove the VIBs or use Image Builder to create a custom upgrade ISO

Cause

The ESX 6.7 host contains an NSX-V VIB that is incompatible with ESX 7.0u3q and NSX-V 6.4

Resolution

To remove the VIB

esxcli software vib list | grep <driver>
esxcli software vib remove -n <name of the vib>

Additional Information

It is recommended that the ESX host be rebooted after the VIB is removed. 
Experienced an issue where we did not reboot and NSX-V was stuck progressing installing the new NSX VIB
