Classic 'Shift Allocations' action moves some dates backwards

Issue/Introduction

When doing Shift Allocations and selecting whole team, some of the allocations dates shift back instead of forward.  In addition, the team dates may end up outside the investment dates.

 

STR:

1.  In Classic: On provided dataset in Project - Create from Template

2.  Chose template BRCM Support Forecast Future Project - w/o SW - Large Project (00891) or SD Copy BRCM Support Forecast Future Project - w/o SW - No Tasks (00911)

3.  New Project Dates:

       Start: 1/1/2025

       Finish:  10/12/2027

4.  Note that the project creates and the team all have the correct dates.  

5.  IN CLASSIC: Select all resources and do Actions / Shift Allocations

    - The fields are blank because selecting all resources. 

    - Time Span to Shift: Start Date = 1/1/2025

    - Time Shift Parameters:  Shift Start Date = 4/1/2025

6. Save and Return

 

Expected Results:   All Start and Finish dates are 1/1/25 to 10/12/2028 and all segments reflect

 

Actual Results:     Some start dates revert back to 1/1/2024, others move forward.  They move forward if their initial segment has 0% allocation.

 

Workaround:  It appears this has to do with Start and Finish on the staff (pravailstart and pravailfinish)   If these are removed on the template then dates shift correctly.
