Concourse for VMware Tanzu

Issue/Introduction

When viewing Concourse Worker VMs in vSphere, you may see that they display multiple IP addresses. One of these will be a normal IP for the network concourse is deployed on, while the other will be in a 10.80.0.0/16 format. This can cause some confusion, as other VMs in the deployment do not do this.

Environment

All Concourse Versions

Resolution

This is expected behaviour for Concourse Workers. The IP range 10.80.0.0/16 is the container network used for running jobs on the concourse workers.

This results in the IPs used by the containers being displayed under the worker VM. This does not impact the VMs at all.
