Change Project grayed out for Deployments

Issue/Introduction

The "Change Project" Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) action is not enabled for deployments, preventing users from migrating new deployments from one project to another.

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

The "Change Project" feature is currently applicable to the following resource types and their respective origins:

• Provisioned: Machines, disks, load balancers, networks, security groups, Azure groups, NATs, gateways, custom resources, Terraform configurations, and Ansible resources.
• Onboarded: Machines, disks, and networks.
• Migrated: Machines, disks, load balancers, networks, security groups, NATs, gateways, and custom resources.

The "Change Project" feature is not supported for resources associated with cloud.puppet. This functionality is not currently planned for future inclusion.

Resolution

To enable the "Change Project" action for deployments using Cloud Puppet, please contact Broadcom's technical support team and refer to this knowledge base article to help resolve the issue.
