Issue/Introduction

Trying to open DevTest Workstation and getting this error:

 

Environment

All supported DevTest releases.

Cause

The OS had been updated on this machine to Windows 11 and System Environment Variable _JAVA_OPTIONS was created.  This environment variable prevented the Workstation from starting.

Resolution

Removing System Environment Variable _JAVA_OPTIONS  allowed the Workstation to be started
