When applying PTF LU14850 the HOLDDATA states
If ADSMVS60 is modified at your installation, then re-fit
your modifications into this version and execute member
USERMOD1, which is found in the CCUWJCL library.
If ADSMVS60 is not modified at your installation, then re-execute
CCUWJCL(USERMOD1) after applying this PTF.
The JCL in *.CCUWJCL(USERMOD1) that creates SDU1811 was never executed before, why is it required now?
If there are no modifications done to ADSMVS60 there is NO need to re-execute *.CCUWJCL(USERMOD1). Ensure that the new module ADSMVS60 with eyecatcher LU14850 is found in the DISK *.CCUWLPA and has been added to the systems LPA library.
In the IEASVCXX member of the SYS1.PARMLIB verify there is an entry of:
SVCPARM 244,REPLACE,TYPE(4),APF(NO),EPNAME(ADSMVS60)
Replace 244 to be the SVC number used at client site.
If ADSMVS60 has been modified re-execute *.CCUWJCL(USERMOD1) and verify that the new module with the maint is found in the DISK *.CCUWLPA has been added to the systems LPA. The IEASVCxx entry in the SYS1.PARMLIB should exist as stated above.
NOTE : *.CCUWJCL(USERMOD1) will create an SDU1811 that will be in the DISK CSI
When installing DISK the DISK SVC would be installed by following STEP 7 of the INSTALLING guide>CONFIGURING YOUR PRODUCT>INSTALL THE DISK SVC:
Where it is recommended that the unmodified or modified (using USERMOD1) module of *.CCUWLPA(ADSMVS60) be added to the DISK CCUWLPA library to your systems LPA.
By installing the DISK SVC this allows the module ADSMVS60 to be called so that Disk's ARCHIVE or BACKUP jobs do not update the last used fields and change bits.
