Issue/Introduction

A HP support pack is attached to a lifecycle manager image using Hardware Support Manager HP OneView for vCenter.
The pre-check fails with the message "pre-check failed".

The hsm-service.log on the vCenter (/var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/) shows the following error:

Resolution

  • Ensure connectivity on port 443 between the OneView appliance and the iLO network. 
  • If there is connectivity, engage HP support for analysis of the error 500.
