What does VPC Unknown signify in the EC2 usage/cost report when categorized based on VPC Enabled?

Resolution

VPC status as Enabled or Unknown based on the following logic: CH gathers instance details from AWS billing information, after which CH will execute API calls to AWS to obtain additional instance details, such as VPC information, and subsequently attempt to associate the VPC with the instance.

In cases where an instance appears in the billing records but no details are retrieved via the API, or if the account is not in a healthy state to facilitate API calls for that instance, the VPC status will be classified as Unknown.
