Issue/Introduction

How can we automatically close/clear alarms in DX UIM that are older than a certain age, e.g. older than 30 days?

DX UIM - Any Version

Resolution

You can use an Auto Operator Profile in the NAS probe of type "close" with the "overdue age" value set to the age of alarms which you would like to close and select all severities except "clear" as seen below:

You can specify the desired time frame here as per the format seen in the following examples:

5s = 5 seconds
5m = 5 minutes
5h = 5 hours
5d = 5 days
