Issue/Introduction

Running the command:

sysctl net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range net.ipv4.ip_local_reserved_ports

net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 9000     65500

net.ipv4.ip_local_reserved_ports = 7777,8443,9443,14002-14004,14006,14012-14014,14016,14021,14023,46517,47870,48879,51966,56063,61904,64222,65259

It is noted that the OneClick Port is not listed as well as the OneClick Corba ports 14011 and 14001.

Resolution

Add the ports to the /etc/sysctl.conf file.

#Ports used by DX NetOps Spectrum

net.ipv4.ip_local_reserved_ports=7777,14001,14002,14003,14004,14006,14011,14012,14013,14014,14016,46517,47870,48879,51966,56063,61904,64222,65259,14021,14023

The OneClick HTTP ports can also be added along with the WebTomcat port, though these likely are not needed.

The file can be read with the following command after updates:

/sbin/sysctl -e -q -p
