ITSM plugin fields are not loading correctly to catalog item to submit build request from Service Now

Issue/Introduction

Trying to request deployments from Service now catalog fails to create as not all the catalog fields are loading. Issue gets resolved temporarily if you try to validate and save the vRA integration but the issue is encountered again in few hours. 

Following errors can be seen in ServiceNow:

Error:
REST call error found inside CatalogImport.multipleRequestDropdownValues:
Method failed:(/form-service/api/forms/renderer/external-values) with code:401-Invalid username/password comboStatus code:401

Error:
Import::: Project:endPoint:https://<vra-fqdn>/project-service/api/projects/?
size=200&page=0&$orderby=name
REST call error found inside EndpointRegister.getProjectDetails.
Error found: Method failed: (/project-service/api/projects/) with code:401 -invalid username/password combo

 

Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.x

 

Cause

vRA access token not fails to get refreshed on ServiceNow.

Resolution

Check the scheduled job "Generate API Token" on ServiceNow and set the time interval to run every 25 minutes.
