Issue/Introduction

When integrating Terraform with Aria Automation, the "VALIDATE" button does not get highlighted, preventing users from proceeding with the integration.

Environment

Aria Automation  8.18.1

Cause

Despite providing the required kubeconfig file, the "VALIDATE" button remained disabled.

  • No errors were observed in the backend logs.

  • All required services, including Provisioning PODs and Terraform PODs, were operational.

  • The issue appeared to be due to UI validation not recognizing the kubeconfig file.

Resolution

Workaround

  1. Navigate to the Runtime Type option.

  2. Toggle between "Managed Kubernetes Cluster" and "External Kubeconfig".

  3. After toggling, the "VALIDATE" option should become enabled.

Switching the Runtime Type forces a UI refresh, allowing the system to properly recognize the kubeconfig input, thereby enabling the "VALIDATE" button.
