LiveUpdate FQDN Trailing dot is not supported

Issue/Introduction

Trailing dot after a LiveUpdate (LU) FQDN within a Symantec product's LiveUpdate configuration will cause it to fail.  Example of a Trailing dot that is not supported.

"liveupdate.symantec.com." (without  quotes)

Resolution

When configuring Symantec products' LiveUpdate settings, the following URLs do not support Trailing dot ".".

• liveupdate.symantec.com
• liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com
• liveupdate-usci.symantecliveupdate.com
