Issue with customer queues not connecting in our UIM Core and Proxy hubs

Issue/Introduction

I have restarted the nimbus service CoreA hub and the Proxy hub but did not help.  Tried restarting the nimbus service on various customer hubs as well, but issue persists.

All customer hubs affected.

Hubs/queues turning red and then back to green repeatedly.

Environment

  • DX UIM 20.4 CU9

Resolution

  1. Cleaned (cleared) the niscache on CoreA (Primary hub) and Proxy1A and ran reset robot_device_id.

  2. This restarted Core A and Proxy1A hubs and the queues remained conncted and stable afterward.

  3. We observed the hub and queues for at least 50 mins to make sure the queues didn't start disconnecting again and they seemed to finally be stable.
