AeXNSCHTTPs.exe is created and then deleted

Issue/Introduction

You went to the Notification Server Communication Profile and clicked on the HTTPS box to disable it and then immediately re-clicked on the HTTPS box to enable it again. You then clicked on the "Save Changes" box. This will create a new version of AeXNSCHTTPs.exe in the following directory:

<install drive>:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\bin\Win32\X86

The AeXNSCHTTPs.exe was created but it immediately deleted.

ITMS 8.6, 8.7

Cause

Trellix for Endpoint protection was installed on the Notification Server (SMP Server). We disabled it for troubleshooting and were able to create AeXNSCHTTPs.exe without it being deleted.

Resolution

Make changes to Trellix or other Endpoint protection software to allow the AeXNSCHTTPs.exe to be created without being deleted.
