HPUX robot installation failed - spooler yellow, hdb not present

Issue/Introduction

After installing a brand new HPUX robot on a new server, the robot appears to have been only partially installed.

The spooler probe is yellow and does not have a port/PID.  

The hdb probe is missing.

The robot's version number is not displayed in Admin Console or IM.

 

Environment

DX UIM Robot - 9.40 or higher
HPUX OS

Resolution

To resolve this issue, try the following steps:

• stop the robot (e.g. /sbin/init.d/nimbus stop)
• execute the post-install script again  (/opt/nimsoft/install/RobotConfigurer.sh)
• start the robot (e.g. /sbin/init.d/nimbus start)

If this does not reslve the issue, uninstall and reinstall the robot using the steps in this document.
