Issue/Introduction

In Weblogic application server, arcotuds deployment is failed with the error "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.PoolConnection".

Environment

Symantec Advanced Authentication 9.1.x

Oracle Weblogic Server 14.1.1

Resolution

Since WebLogic includes native drivers for Oracle Database, explicit JDBC driver configuration is redundant.

  • Recommendation: Remove the external JDBC JAR file from the WebLogic classpath to resolve the conflict.
