Seeing PDA like interface

Issue/Introduction

After users login to Service Catalog web UI it displays some PDA like page for them

we find this error in the view.log

2025/02/05 11.02.50.841 WARN  [DynamicVersionDirectoryWatcher] [WebCacheVersionHandler] Some problem with the path and setting the cache key.
java.nio.file.FileSystemException: \\network-drive\filestore\custom\explorer\scripts: The user name or password is incorrect.

Environment

CA Service Catalog 17.3 and higher

Resolution

Please engage your network admin to investigate why Service Catalog can't access the remote filestore location.  In the above example, there is a credentials issue taking place.

As a workaround, you can do the following

1. stop Service Catalog service
2. rename the Service-Catalog-install-folder\filestore folder and copy the remote filestore folder to Service-Catalog-install-folder
3. start Service Catalog service and test
