jdbc_response probe not increasing alarm severity when higher threshold is breached

Issue/Introduction

I have configured the jdbc_response probe to alert with a "minor" severity alarm when a threshold is breached (e.g. 50) and a "major" alert when a higher threshold is breached (e.g. 75).

When the minor threshold is breached, the alarm is sent correctly, but when the value increases and crosses the major threshold, the alarm severity is not increased and the value in the alarm message is not updated.  

Environment

jdbc_response 1.27.0

Resolution

Attached to this KB is a test build/hotfix which resolves the issue.

This build will show up in the Archive as jdbc_response 1.28.0 build 52:

You may also downgrade to jdbc_response 1.24 as a workaround.
