Issue/Introduction

  • Connecting to TCP 5671 port on Manager nodes shows expired certificate.
  • RabbitMQ fails to communicate to other Manager nodes.
    /var/log/rabbitmq/[email protected] says:
    <TIMESTAMP> [error] <<number>> Supervisor {<number>,amqp_channel_sup_sup} had child channel_sup started with amqp_channel_sup:start_link(direct, <number>, <<"<rabbit@localhost.<number>>">>) at undefined exit with reason shutdown in context shutdown_error

Environment

  • NSX-T Data Center 3.1
  • NSX-T Data Center 3.0

Cause

RabbitMQ certificates cannot be replaced.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in NSX-T Data Center 3.2 and later, available at Broadcom Downloads.

In NSX-T Data Center 3.2 and later, RabbitMQ is not installed.
