vCenter is inaccessible after upgrading to version 8u3b

Issue/Introduction

vCenter webpage does not load. Services will not start. Following patch attempt.

Cause

vCenter failed to completely upgrade.

Resolution

1. Log in to the ESXi host and locate the vCenter virtual machine. 
2. Before reverting to a snapshot, always power off the vCenter virtual machine. 
3. Navigate to the snapshot manager within the vCenter VM settings and select the snapshot to revert to. 
4. Select the "Revert" option to initiate the rollback process, which will restore the vCenter server to the state captured in the chosen snapshot. 

Additional Information

Important considerations

Depending on whether the snapshot captured the VM's memory state, the vCenter server might power on or off after reverting. Ensure  a suitable snapshot available and be aware of potential impact of reverting to a previous state. When reverting to a snapshot taken while critical data was being modified, consider potential data inconsistencies and take appropriate backups beforehand.
