During boot of appliances based on PhotonOS, you may see the following message, and the boot appears struck on this message:
[SKIP] Ordering Cycle found, skipping Login Prompts
Aria Operations 8.x
This can be seen when a forced filesystem check is run on the filesystem. There is no screen output for this process, which means that the boot process may appear stuck.
A forced filesystem check will occur on the first boot after 180 days when no filesystem check has been performed.
Wait for the process to complete. Keep in mind that a filesystem check may take hours to complete, depending on the size of the filesystem, and the datastore latency/performance.
Alternatively, you can perform manual filesystem check on the appliance filesystems:
It's not possible to tell how long the filesystem check will take, as this depends on the size of the filesystem, the performance and latency of the filesystem.
