Issue/Introduction

This article answers the question if Smarts uses OpenSSH by any means during the discovery & monitoring of the devices.

Environment

Smarts 10.1.X / 2.X

Resolution

Smarts does perform SSH operation for CLI based discovery (IP / NPM).

However, these are through the Perl modules and and there is no OpenSSH (as a library or 3rd party components) shipped along with Smarts.
