Issue/Introduction

When creating a Quick Migrate Strategy within RC/Migrator for Db2 for z/OS (RCM), the following messages pop up when specifying a remote Db2 SSID as the Target:

PTADRVTA SVC99 FAILURE R15=00000004 R1=17080002
PTADRVTA OPENTASK not called

The analysis is successful and the correct DDL is generated. What is the cause of the messages?

Resolution

Within hlq.CDBAPARM member SETUPxx verify the Target Db2 SSID LOADLIBS entry contains the correct SDSNEXIT and SDSNLOAD allocations.
In one situation these datasets were not cataloged on the LPAR where the RCM Quick Migrate was executing.
