Issue/Introduction

You have installed the DCS 6.10 Java console and need to know the first time login and password

Environment

DCS 6.10 Console

Resolution

When logging in to the Console for the first time, you will need to setup a password. 

Enter the account of symadmin and leave the password field blank.

Username: symadmin
Password: *Blank*

This will allow you to setup a new password:

Once the password is set, you can use this username/password for future logins. 

 

OPTIONAL: You can setup Active Directory authentication afterwards in the console, under Integration > Active Directory.
