Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

When submitting a job that just runs the 'dir' command to a system agent on Windows platform fails with an exit code 1314 (Insufficient privileges) when system agent is started with domain or local user.

 

Environment:  

System Agent on Windows platforms.

 

Cause: 

The user being used to start the System Agent does not have enough privileges.

 

Resolution:

1. User must be part of the Administrators Group

2. Following list of privileges are required:

  • Act As A Part Of The Operating System
  • Access This Computer From The Network
  • Logon As A Service 
  • Increases Quota
  • Logon As A Batch Job
  • Log On Locally 
  • Replace A Process Level Token
  • Create a token object 
  • Create global object 
  • Impersonate a client after authentication
  • Take ownership of files and other objects
