Unable to Activate vSphere Security Configuration Guide in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

When navigating to Aria Operations UI > Operations > Compliance and clicking 'Activate From Repository' under the vSphere Security Configuration Guide, instead of being directed to the activation page for the compliance template, you are incorrectly redirected to the vCenter adapter configuration page.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

vSphere compliance scorecards were incorrectly set to "Disabled" state, though it had to be in "Enabled" state, resulting in this issue. This is a known issue in Aria Operations.

Resolution

The workaround is to change the scorecard state to "Enabled" by running the appropriate DB commands.
