Issue/Introduction

 DX APMIA agents intermittently stopping to report systemedge metrics 

Below error message reported on the Agent log: 

[ERROR] [IntroscopeAgent.InfrastructureAgent] The thread named "Timer-0" has unexpectedly terminated because of java.lang.NullPointerException null

Environment

DX O2 SaaS APMIA Agent 23.12 

 SysEdge Host Monitor Extension 

Cause

This appears to be a known issue with unexpected timer thread termination due to java.lang.NullPointerException and triggering IllegalStateException for SNMP GET.

Resolution

DX APMIA 25.1 Agent  has included a potential fix.
