chk_auto_up returns CAUAJM_E_50242 Failed to establish communication with the AutoSys Application Server

Issue/Introduction

Executing "chk_auto_up -r 111" gives immediate following error message

CAUAJM_E_50242 Failed to establish communication with the AutoSys Application Server

Environment

Autosys 12.x

Cause

chk_auto_up requires access to the application server.
When having the environment variable AS_TXLOCAL=1 , it will skip it.

Resolution

unset TX_LOCAL
