Protected and Recovery sites show up in reverse order in Protection Group 'Summary' to that in Recovery Plan 'Summary' tab

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms

Protected and Recovery sites in Protection Group summary is in reverse order to that seen in Recovery Plan Summary tab.

Example:
In Protection Group > summary tab -- Protected site shows as Site-A & Recovery site shows as Site-B. 
While in Recovery Plan > Summary tab -- Protected site shows as Site-B & Recovery site shows as Site-A.

 

Environment

Site Recovery Manager 8.x
Site Recovery Manager 9.x
VMware Live Site Recovery 9.x

Cause

• This occurs when Running Reprotect (post-Recovery) fails to complete.
• Due to this failure, the Plan status for the Recovery Plan would be 'Incomplete Reprotect'.
• Incomplete Reprotect indicates that the Storage operations have completed but did not complete creating shadow virtual machines 

Resolution

• Re-run Reprotect (ensure to tick the check-box against 'Force clean-up' in the Reprotect wizard.
• Once the task completes and Recovery Plan status shows 'Ready', the sites show consistent on Recovery Plan as it shows in 'Protection Group'.
