Issue/Introduction

This article guides you through registering a VCD instance in VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager using a vCenter read-only user.

Environment

Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager version is 1.7.0

Resolution

Please find the steps below:

1. Clone a new Read-only role in the vCenter.
2. Assign 'View VM storage policies' permission, and include all default read-only permissions. 
3.This should work to add the VC and discovery should succeed.
