Issue/Introduction

The "%INPUT DCONVERT,*" job receives error "PE031 16-16 I/O ERROR PDSOUT *".

Cause

PDSOUT DD points to a PDSE data set.

Resolution

PANEXEC PDSOUT DD pointing to a PDSE data set is not supported.
If you need to copy an element to the PDSE file, copy it to a PDS data set first.  Then copy from the PDS to the PDSE file using PGM=IEBCOPY.
