DX UIM support for windows 2025 information

Issue/Introduction

• This article provides more information on UIM compatibility with Windows OS 2025.

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.x
• Windows Server 2025

Resolution

• Windows 2025 is now fully supported across all our core components, as well as system probes starting with DX UIM 23.4.4 (aka CU4).

• For an existing UIM Server or Operator Console installation, you should upgrade to 23.4.4 first, then you can upgrade the OS to Windows 2025.

• You may also use robot and hub 23.4.4 for new hub and robot deployments for Windows 2025.

• A fresh install of DX UIM to a Windows 2025 system is not yet supported; you must install 23.4.0 on Windows 2022 or prior, then upgrade DX UIM to 23.4.4, after which you may upgrade the OS to Windows 2025.

• New installations to Windows 2025 for DX UIM Server and Operator Console will be supported in DX UIM 23.4.5 (Late July ETA for CU5).

• Regarding the probes' compatibility with Windows 2025 -  in general, we certify system probes such as cdm, rsp, logmon, dirscan, etc. However, other probes like emailgtw, net_connect, ntservices, sdgtw, url_response, HA, or java_jre packages should also be supported, even though they are not explicitly mentioned.
