ERROR : cannot load CA ControlMinder kernel module

Issue/Introduction

Post installation of PIM R12.8 SP1, not able to load the SEOS_syscall Kernel module in Solaris host and in the Solaris Zones as well.

Solaris Version: 11.4 SRU 69

Environment

CA Privileged Identity Management Endpoint (PIM) - R12.8 SP1

Cause

We have a know issue from Oracle for not being able to load the SEOS_syscall in Solaris 11.4 SRU 69

Resolution

- Upgrade the Solaris 11.4 to SRU 75 or higher

- Upgrade the PIM to the latest CP level, currently this is CP06.

- Download the fix attached in this article and follow the instructions as mentioned in the README file of the fix.
