Service Desk standby server installation shows as background server

Issue/Introduction

I installed the background server,  and then tried to install standby server, but, when running the installer on the standby server, I cannot change the Server Type:

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager 17.3 and higher

Resolution

Follow these steps

1. login to web interface as administrator on the installed background server
2. go Administration-->System-->Servers and then click on the Create button. On the server creation popup, enter the standby server name, and select 
   standby server from the Server Type dropdown. Save.
3. run the installation on the standby server again

If follow these steps but step 3 still show background server, contact Broadcom Support.
