Can second syslog server be written to while still writing to the first?

Issue/Introduction

You want to configure PAM so that it starts writing syslog data to an additional/second destination. The Configuration > Logs > Syslog page allows for multiple syslog servers to be configured. You want to confirm that PAM is capable of this function and that a second syslog server is not just a failover. It is necessary that both servers get complete syslog data. 

Resolution

That is how the syslog configuration in PAM works. Both configured syslog servers will receive the syslog messages. It is NOT a failover configuration.
