CA Service Management - Service Desk Manager

Issue/Introduction

Our management would like the "Log Comment" activity notification not send email if the contact who performs this activity is a certain user.

After some research, we found that we may be able to use some condition for the some rule for the "Log Comment". So we use alg.analyst for a custom activity

association but when tried to use this custom association in the condition we got error

Environment

Resolution

You can't use alg object attribute in incident/request/problem condition macro. Only attributes for in object can be used.

The reason Service Desk Manager can't figure the connection is the in and alg are many to many relation.

There is no configuration changes can implement the said requirement. You would need to write some custom spel code. If you decide to pursue custom spel code, please engage Service via
