Issue/Introduction

When FAQSAO Partition is not started see "GAO304W FAQSAO NOT ACTIVE" during IPL

Why and what is the reason ?

Resolution

GAO304W is issued when a console message "matches" a message action entry in the message action file for which want to execute an GREXX IMOD. 

FAQSAO has to be active to be able to execute an GREXX IMOD.

Message Action file is loaded during IPL Time by this Program in the ASI proc: 

* -- INITIALIZE FAQS --* 

// EXEC GSFAQS,SIZE=256K 

STARTUP filename 

where filename is the name of the Startup file which contains the name of the Message Action file.
