CA Client Automation - IT Client Manager

Issue/Introduction

On the Database server, in the installation there is the user severitypropagation with administrator
permissions, but we do not see services running with that user, therefore we want to know if it is
necessary to have it active, since for security reasons they alert us that it has administrator permissions.

Environment

Client Automation - 14.5 versions

Resolution

Seems that the user severitypropagation is related to the very old discontinued product CA WorldView
Severity Propagation service. Check the Task Manager, and see if any of the following processes are
running and stop them: sevprop or sevpropcom process. After that try to deactivate the user severitypropagation
and start to monitor the environment for a time to confirm that you can keep this way. Also, verify if the
database server is not shared with other CA product.
