Issue/Introduction

  • Using a 3rd Party LCM tool to query the VMware Cloud Director API may trigger the following error:
    "Error in reading READ_RESOURCE_FROM_CLOUD_FLAG from configuration getParamValue():: enableHATesting property not found\cf1\highlight2"

Environment

  • VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This issue arises from a mismatch between the expected number of VMs in the 3rd Party LCM database and the VMware Cloud Director vApp being queried.

Resolution

Remove the VM from the vApp that is not recognized by LCM.
